Rumours are that Byrne is leaving as well, taking advantage of the TUPE regulation which allows an employee to break contract and just leave. I do love the loyalty shown by these players.
I don't have an issue with them wanting to leave, just the trying to do it at cost to the club, still that's the modern game I guess.
