Spent some serious coin as well - be a fecker if it all goes tits up for em.
16 players are a lot to bring in, but it may be a little early to be envious of them. Who knows, only a couple of them may prove themselves up to this league long term? By Xmas their results will show better if the money was well spent.
We still need a left back though! 😁
I wouldn't be counting my chickens as a forest fan yet, I watched their win vs West Ham and they were pretty bad. Their goal was a lucky deflection (albeit well worked prior to that), West Ham missed a penalty, hit the underside of the bar twice, had a goal disallowed and missed 2 other glaring chances oh and Henderson made 2 typically brilliant saves. Any other day they probably lose that game 3-1.
It might all click for them, it might all go to **** as it generally does when you basically sign an entire new team, be very interested to see where they are come World Cup break
To be hoped the bean counters are getting it right for them
The owner did some amount of "crossing himself " on MOTD.
I'm pretty sure he'll be doing a lot more of it and hoping that it works.
Sure you could replay that game 100 times and Forest wouldn’t win - the footballing gods decided to laugh at West Ham - the winning goal the Forest player knew little about other than it rebounded off his knee.
West Ham managed to hit just about everything with the ball bar the back of the net, the bar, the posts, their own players - unbelievable Jeff!
