Boris said in Kiev this week the British will pay in high energy costs whilst the Ukrainians will pay in blood. OK though for the likes of him, Sunak and the other inept t ossers as they can afford any increases. Many can’t and will go into poverty and have huge mental health issues and depression.

Would not be surprised and understand that riots will happen - many defaulting on debt and huge shop lifting to take place. Get ready for lots of strikes of workers in many professions!!

This isn't solely a war issue though is it, the prices were increasing significantly before the invasion and the government conveniently overlooked filling up the storage tanks during the pandemic in readiness for the pre-pandemic demand. F'me who would have thought demand would increase! No government business being done whilst Rome burns, an epidemic of strikes, a collapsing NHS, a police force no longer fit for purpose due to cuts, hyperinflation whilst Truss & Sunak pontificate about the issues they themselves have had a hand in creating.

Sunak went to visit the pharmacy once owned by his family which he worked in whilst growing up, he says he has his roots in small businesses when he gave no help to 3Million self employed folk. He's got some front the slimy hypocrite.

I agree there will be civil unrest, and lots of it, the system is breaking down.

The best thing we did was selling up and moving into a mobile home. I dread to think how much our bills would be now trying to heat the old house, they were bad enough eight years ago.
