Work permit?

Anyone know much about work permits? Obviously we missed Isak today due to this.

Very frustrating that you need special permission to kick a ball about.

Not sure if this is the UK government, an EU thing, Premier League thing or what?

Anyone have any insight?

International clearance was missing but as to whether that's UEFA or our Gov't, I don't know.

I would assume it is UK government visa regulations, I believe they have a special visa for sportspeople.

Anybody from outside the UK needs a work permit/visa to work here (playing football professionally is still considered work). Since Brexit, that applies to everyone incl EU citizens.
