If Vile lose their next two games it'll be their worst start to a prem campaign a i read somewhere.
There next two games - Arsenal and Man City.
There really isn’t any comparison and the press/pundits should be shouting Eddie’s name from the rooftops (along with Potter’s).
Both of the latter have transformed their teams and, in Eddie’s case, in rapid time. 64% possession at Wolves (compared to cabbage??!!).
Seems to be falling out with a few players, reminds me of another Anfield midfield legend who went into management…
There is a difference between an ex player and a manager. Sure, some ex players can make good managers but there is a world of difference between having skills with the ball at your feet and the physical attributes to be a good player and having the brain to be able to come up with good strategies and tactics to be a successful manager
Villa second bottom now with Man City on Saturday.....I bet Villa fans are bricking it over Haaland coming to town!
Makes you realise how well we did in that 3-3. TBH, I think Haaland was just finding his touch so we probably played them at just the right time. Because I was obsessed with the guy before he left Dortmund, I was studying his movement in our match. In the 2nd half, it was frightening the way he makes a little shooting space in front of him for the ball to be played into and how unplayable he is in the air.
The return visit to the Etihad should include a free diaper on every away seat...
