Reportedly he has not played since late 2021, but if he has maintained an acceptable level of fitness then we could do a lot worse than acquire his services for the duration. This guy never took prisoners and seemed incapable of being intimidated, but he does know a thing or two about scoring goals. If he can control the extremes of a naturally aggressive approach to the game then he could well be exactly what we want at the present time.

I really hope this works out, if he is 70% of the player he was at Chelsea it'll do me.

I don’t see a solution here, he left the club he was playing for in Brazil in January. Hasn’t done a pre season and has scored less than twenty goals in the last four seasons. Sounds like a spent force… and he certainly isn’t ready for a return to the Premier League! What’s he going to do bench warm and give us twenty minutes at the end of the game?Not for me thanks, smacks of desperation. I’d rather work with what we’ve got, Guedes can play down the middle, so can Adama, hopefully Raul will be fit again in a couple of weeks and can recover some form.
