You hear of ghastly murders and then it comes to sentencing in court for those found guilty.
A woman has just received a life sentence for a horrific murder she committed but, the judge said she must serve a minimum of 34 years?
I get the ‘whole life’ tariff where the guilty will remain locked up til they die but, why use the term life when it is indeed only a number in years?
Should change it to hang.
