Why is BBC Radio Cumbria so poor?

I do not give a toss about what Newton & Phillips think about the England squad. Why are they shocked that Dean Henderson is not included? His one cap was 2 years ago for playing in the second half of a friendly against the Republic Of Ireland.

But it's not just the sport presentation that lacks a bit of common sense. In general this is a station employing neo-veteran presenters who are fixed in their ways and coasting, with no new ideas. Even the junior presenters are merely copying the numerous faults of the banal senior presenters. Not one of the junior presenters is going to develop into anything like what Kenny Everett was in his early radio career. A junior presenter being interesting, demonstrating initiative and flair would be sacked.
