1921 football budget
Every season by the end of November the EFL sends the list of football budgets in each of its leagues to the Chief Executive of each club. Each club's Chief Executive gets the list of the total football budget of each club in that league. This is solely a list of amounts in descending order, with no club names.
Nigel Clibbens gets the list of the total football budget of each League Two club, such list being in descending sequence and having no club names attached. Thus he and all the Chief Executives of League Two clubs can recognise their own club's budget and know its ranking amongst the 24 clubs. None of these Chief Executives of clubs can know which other budget is of which club but of course some will be obvious.
As usual, Nigel Clibbens has stated that for the current season the 1921 budget is in the bottom quartile (quarter) of all the League Two budgets. He will not make public the exact ranking. This has been his habit since he arrived at the club.
I am ignorant of the club's ranking in this list before Nigel Clibbens arrived. But since then he has always stated that the club's football budget is in that bottom quartile, giving no further detail. Nigel Clibbens is unfairly given scant respect by some supporters. But I believe that he is doing a very good job with almost fuck all resources. He always tells the truth.
