If Bradford City do not lose they will go above us into 4th place, with both teams having played 24 games.

If 10 January was the last day of the season, would it be accurate to say that any team finishing the day with one point more than the team finishing 4th, would be promoted?
No, it is quite clear that a team finishing with 1 point more than 4th gets relegated.
The very suggestion that a team finishing with 1 point more than 4th gets automatically promoted is heresy and must be suppressed at every opportunity.
Of course Northampton Town would fulfill the criteria for being automatically promoted in 3rd place by having finished with a minimum number of 1 point more than 4th. They would be clear of the minimum requirement by at least 3 points. That does not of course affect what the minimum requirement was and is. It was and is to finish with 1 point more than 4th place.
We are of course not getting into goal difference issues. This is solely about points.
Why are Dale fixtures now a regular topic on here⦠I am depressed enough as it is 😢
This fixture has a bearing on Carlisle United's position in League Two. I believe that all the current top 3 will be the final top 3.
We do not want Rochdale to be relegated.
We want Bradford City, a former Premier League club that is fundamentally a Championship club, to remain the laughing stock of Tier 4.
Come on Rochdale, kick arse.
Git amang 'em Rochdale.
Aye, just got the feed for the second half. Come on Fail!
