Thanks for posting! Don't think I've seen this since it was first broadcast and I was quite young then (😁) so only have vague memories of it. Totally different era though in those days when the F A cup really meant something and before money began to ruin the game. Maybe one day we might see a return to such achievements but sadly think that'll be many years away yet
Thanks for posting. Great memories.
Thanks for posting. Never seen that clip. Really enlightening about an age long gone. All the Albion players are so humble and such honest pros …. contrast with the entitled players you see today at the top level …. And even lower down
Also, how much better an interviewer David Coleman was than Gary Lineker these days.
That team, the essence of the spirit of West Bromwich Albion, we will never see the like again.
Great memories. Thanks for posting, Soulman
Thanks to the poster I really enjoyed that I only started watching the Albion in 67 so those lads were my first blue and white heroes
Remember walking to the ground on match night with Dennis Clarke on a couple of occasions. He would chat to me and my mate and he never ignored us or made us feel a nuisance. A time when footballers lived in digs near the ground and would walk or catch the bus then give their all for 90+ minutes then walk or bus it back home. Now when I see the dross we have to watch swan up in the s****y motors and disappear during the game it makes me sick.
