Leeds are my second team and alot of the in laws support them. I watch them most games on my dodgy app. The trouble is Victor Orta has been allowed far too much trust and has massively overspent on bog standard players and still not sorted out the defence. To say Cooper, apart from Wober, is their best centre back says it all. Still persisting with Bamford and not bringing another good number 9 in has also been their undoing, they've created chances all season, don't take them then their defence is porous. Garcia was the wrong man at the wrong time. The Marsch experiment was also wrong. Orta got lucky with Gnonto, bought Raphina who everyone knew about already and Sinesterra is decent. The best thing he did was bring in Bielsa but when the crowd came back and teams realised they don't defend, it was all downhill. Apart from that they've bought rubbish for high prices, the Rutter debacle a good example.
Leeds fans would rather have Sam for 4 games if it got rid of Orta. The 49s are taking over in the summer irrespective of league so they'll come back up and when they do they won't have Orta spunking all the money up the wall.
OP, Just wondered why you chose "Fat Sam" as the Headline for your post. Is it humorous?
Their remaining fixtures look difficult. But "Big" Sam might just do it because the other contenders are equally poor.Quote:
