That was seriously impressive, they played with a confidence almost bordering on arrogance. McAllister is a world class player but such was their dominance all over the park I hardly noticed him.

I thought the same Sinky, makes you wonder how Everton put five past them.
I watched most of this weekend’s EPL matches and wonder if even VK can help us to survive amongst that lot.
I watched the game and thought Brighton were worthy of their win. One interesting point was that Vincent Kompany was in the stand watching the game, is it possible he was watching a particular player, with a view to making him a Burnley player.
There was rumour on t'other board a while ago that we'd be signing Deniz Undav from Brighton, he was a big scorer in Belgium before moving to Brighton so Vinni will know him well. He seems the likeliest, but who knows, Vinni won't be telling that's for sure.
I can’t see us attracting many existing PL players, especially if the could end up in European competition. But…..you never know.
The 18 yr old striker Ferguson looked to be a real crackerjack. Where do they find them?
Back down to earth for Brighton tonight, Newcastle just ran over them. Our possible target Undav took his goal well but, apart from scoring at the wrong end as well, and giving the free-kick away for Newcastle's second, he was hardly in the game. It wouldn't break my heart if we don't sign him, the main reason being he's German, and for whatever reason Germans just don't score goals in English football. There certainly hasn't been one who has this century anyway.
