I think it will do him good, by then Tripps will be another yr older, obviously, lol, it’s just the here and now that worries me. To be honest Manquillo has never let us down whenever he’s played but if it’s for a long run then not so sure, alternatively if it was a long run he might get better, who knows!Quote:

They might keep them both for the year or might release one but it’s unlikely either will get an extension, so I think this loan makes good sense. If Trippier gets a major injury, that’s a game changer for us but we have to try and stay positive on that front. I think the two back ups will both stay and Ashby comes back into it in 2024/25.
I reckon that we'll be selling Manquillo and he'll be back off to La Liga.
I also think we'll get that kid from Southampton who'll be acting as an additional young back up etc.
