Used to think he was alright but his recent statements are making him sound like a bit of a k nob. So, he really supported LGBTQ+ rights by making the effort to wear rainbow laces because he has family and friends from within this community and now feels really "hurt" by their criticism of him for agreeing to play in Saudi. Honestly, they don't understand, it's not about the money at all, it's just about having the opportunity to "help develop the sport I love in another country" and he will still support LGBTQ+ by wearing rainbow laces there-oh, hang on a minute, no, he can't do that because, you know, you also have to respect their culture and religion so can't actually do that. Still, he feels very hurt by all this and will continue to support them (somehow) whilst in Saudi where he will help develop the sport. Given Saudi's well known equalities I'm sure there will be ample opportunity for Jordan to help develop grass roots football in the country and aid aspiring young players from all backgrounds.
Jordan Henderson may well, for all I know, give money towards various charities and he may do far more than just wear woke-ish rainbow laces in support of LGBTQ+ rights but his comments thus far on all this just make him look like a tool.
