Millwall v Swansea
Millwall v Swansea Sat 30 Sept 3pm
It’s amazing what a win can do to confidence. We can now look to the next few games with renewed vigour after getting that monkey off our back. The game was in parts not pretty, with the Owls rough play resulting in two of our players going off injured but this time we came out on top.
First up in a tough next run of fixtures is Millwall at the Lions Den next Saturday.
They’ve had an average start with W3 D2 L3 so far and last time out drew at West Brom 0-0, missing a penalty that would have given them the away win. One result that stood out was their 0-3 recent home defeat by Leeds with our sadly now departed leading scorer and star player Piroe getting two of those goals, shame he’s not still here.
Let’s get at them and get a least a draw, looking forward to it.

Yes tough game to call, as you say your tails will now be up after the win you had, however you did play against the worst team in the league at the present time. Still it is a game I look forward to as a Lions fan, but welcome down the Den you Jacks.

Sorry claw84, we needed the win more than you!
It’s all about confidence for me, we were still bubbling from last week’s win, and it showed.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

jackaway - money talks, a sideways move in the Championship for Piroe to Leeds to double his salary.
Funny old game ain’t it, Millwall drew at WBA last week and missed a penalty for the away win.
This week WBA go to leaders Preston and beat them 0-4 on their own patch!
