What an awful programme Soccer Saturday has become. Who, for example, is the dull as ditchwater bird hosting it? Then there’s the illiterate Clinton Morrison, the frightful scouse ‘woman’, etc, etc. Not even a shadow of what it used to be with Jeff Stelling.
I totally agree regarding the woman presenter. I missed the start of the programme so I don’t know why Simon Thomas is not presenting it today. I don’t mind Sue Smith as I think that she is the best female pundit.
Strangely enough, I thought the female stand in did ok. Overall, the majority of the female match reporters are poor in my view, albeit there is indeed a decent one.
Just watched the highlights of Liverpool v Fulham and the drama of the occasion completely ruined by a squawking, screeching female commentator - this kind of stuff makes me reluctant to invest in Sky ever again. Here is the link but put some ear plugs in
