O/T:- Wolves

Just watched Wolves lose 3-2 to a poor injury time penalty decision. They must be the unluckiest team in the prem.
They have already had 2 apologies from Howard Webb the man in charge of the refs for wrong and poor decisions. It’s about time some ex players became refs who understand the game and know when a player is trying to buy a foul. Fulham could/ should have had a man sent off also.
These decisions can cost people their jobs and the clubs millions of pounds and not just a the top level.

The Premier League have got enough technology at hand to deal with all the fake , cheating drama queens.
The one thing they haven't got though is common sense.

What I find most annoying is that we can see a dive or a faked injury but the pundits come out with "A bad tackle that" "Looks like he has a head injury" "Oh I think he might have caught him". Grow some balls and say it as it is!

Why would an ex- player ever want to ref? They know better than most the abuse that refs get.

I agree on pundits though. And some don't seem to know the rules anyway.

The reason ex players don't go into refereeing is because of the stupid rule that says top refs must retire by 45. So a professional footballer would finish at say 36-37 and then have 8 or 9 years to get from Sunday league to the EFL/PL. Basically to be a referee and make it to the "top" you have to decide you aren't a good footballer at around 15 and go from there. Probably why they always seem to have an attitude problem, probably they have a deep seated resentment they never made it as a player

I thought VAR was suppose to sort these problems out XD What a joke it is!!
