No desire, no interest, no enthusiasm, quite frankly nothing. AND we gave them a goal and nearly two others faffing around at the back. When will they ever learn? After Saturday I was beginning to think Kompany might be a half decent manager, but no more. No manager worth a fig would allow a team to play like this.
We were fine in the first half, Wolves were tight but we gifted them that goal and lost Koleosho and we had nothing else to offer. As has been said we are in dire need of a proven striker. Is the padiham Predator still playing?
A game we should have got something out of, frustrating, we shot ourselves in the foot once again.
On the other hand we were playing away from home against an established mid-table PL team, we were without our best striker, we were without our best defender and our best winger went off injured after 36 minutes, despite this we virtually shared possession with them 51%-49%, we had more shots than them, 7-12. and we had more corners 6-8. The home crowd was restless for most of the game as we kept them out comfortably, we gifted them a goal, but that apart they only rarely looked threatening and Trafford wasn't much more than a spectator.
With a decent striker signed in January, plus the return of Beyer and Koleosho, I expect us to be staying up, because to be honest, despite being at home, Wolves looked no better than us, and no one expects them to be going down.
Fair comment sinky though I think Wolves looked tighter at the back than us.Quote:

Just one minor complaint from me about a mistake repeated. Koleosho and Larsen were both having very good games. Don't take Koleosho off and reshuffle when Odobert can play that left wing role. What's the problem with Zaroury also?
JBG for Koleosho seemed a strange choice.

Compare our performance tonight with Luton. They lost 4-3 to Arsenal but at least they must have had a real go. We did nothing of the sort.

Wolves are a bloody good team this year, better than any layman could imagine.
