Nice one. Cheers.
Testament to his character and to Howe's coaching skills.
Jamaal has matured into a fine player. His performances are assured and he has genuinely took my breath away with how well he has done. Speaks highly of Miley too.
Clearly has something that a lot of our past managers saw. Including Rafa.
He’s done very well recently. But did noone else think he backed off too much for Everton’s first goal. McNeil was allowed to head in field and pick his spot. I’d hope he’d be closed down sooner and/or forced to his left.
I don’t know what player fans are watching and the hype he has had over the past few months
Sorry but my take on the player is that he has been well covered by deep lying midfielders. The ball is like a hot potato at his feet and he always passes sideways to Schar or Tripps. On a one one one he backs off all the time yes it was Tripps fault for losing possession but Lascelles effort as stopping the player was pitiful
In my eyes he is a terrible defender can’t wait for Botman to get fit and get him back on the bench.
I take your points, and pace has always been an issue, I get it. But terrible is too strong a word I reckon - we are not getting a better bench player than him at this poiint. I think he has made the best of what tools he has and surpassed my expectations this last load of games beung dropped in cold. And he has chipped in with goals FFS.
