Yeah I have no complaints either. Well done!
Never had any worries about her, I'll bet Forest fans wish she'd have been reffing their game.
Can we have her again next week ? She could give me a yellow card !
Rebecca has earned her chance. I saw her reffing in the Northern League in years gone by and that is no easy task, I can assure you.
She did well yesterday and it was no surprise to me because she ahs a lot of experience.
Strange though that it was 21 minutes before she awarded the first free kick in the game.
I've already said this mon ami, like Sub I've seen a few in non league and the players are more respectful of them. Maybe they are the answer to football's respect problem at the top level, import female refs en masse into the PL and Bob's your uncle, all those gobby overpaid sh1ts suddenly become pu$$y cats. ;D
Sadly, it won't make a difference because players will continue to dive around if anyone is in their vicinity, hold their face when they go down even though the contact was nowhere near the head, if there was any contact at all.
They will continue to roll around on the pitch after very minimal contact in order to try to get their opponent cautioned etc., etc.
The game is becoming more corrupt every day, aided and abetted by the PL's hold over the PGMOL with its directives about player safety, use of excessive force, being out of control (a la Willy Boly joke decision) etc., etc.
You would hope the ladies would get more respect wouldn't you.
