It's almost a relief that folk from outside can see what's going on. Why isn't ffp challemged in the courts-could it fall foul of anti-competition laws? The idea that it's to stop clubs spending beyond their means to protect them from themselves is so laughable and transparent that I'm surprised anyone bought it.

In fairness, it's media speculation based on his friendship with the new Man U part owner. Luke Edwards says no contact has been made and that Ashworth is happy here.Quote:

An excellent article which clearly spells out how corrupt the Premier League is, with its rules and regulations. They clearly only want the same six clubs PERMANENTLY entrenched at the top of the table. I also have been hearing a lot of stuff regarding Dan Ashworth's head being turned by MANURE. Don't be surprised if he's gone soon.
That being said, I have no idea how we manage our playing list moving forward, the EPL have literally made it impossible for us to improve.
If he does go I wonder if some of our other scouting team will follow? It’s the same with Eddie, if he gets the push along with Tyndall how many more might we loose eventually. He seems to build up a strong loyalty with people he works with.Quote:
