Similar or not?

Is our current pairing of PW and Richie Barker somewhat reminiscent of the Rooney and Rosenior partnership in that Richie and Leroy seem to be the ones with the coaching ideas, the ones who come with changes in a match and PW/WR seem to be the less technically "gifted" part of the management duo but have the "lead role"?

Think you mean Liam ;)...and it’s to be hoped so in many ways as RB’s actual managerial record is pretty dismal.
Watching the two in the dug out, RB is invariably much the busier as was LR when Rooney, who seemed regularly quite reticent until the post match interviews, was in charge.
Be nice if someone could begin to emulate Clough and Taylor or Jim and Schteve.

Nope not in the slightest, for a start PW has actually managed a team and got them promoted whereas Rooney managed diddly squat in any of his management roles to date! There's a world of difference in that PW is an established coach/manager with experience albeit at lower levels, whereas Rooney has very little. other than ****ing teams up!

Not sure where you get the idea that Barker is the one who has the coaching ideas, decides when subs come on, when to change tactics etc. From what I've seen PW is the one organising and telling people, Barker carries out his instructions though no doubt as in all such cases there is a mix of ideas and actions according to circumstances.

I've read your opening post again and you don't provide any evidence or examples of the tosh you have posted. Still obviously somebody who watches most games on TV, (where the interaction of manager and coaches is hardly the focus) has an in depth inside knowledge on how Warne operates with his coaches and is able to provide an accurate analysis.

Your proposition is flawed and doesn't hold up to any scrutiny!

I didn't propose a damned thing. I asked a question but, no, Swale has to get on his high horse and read things into posts that aren't, and never have been, there.
