Another red card overturned and again shows an official's ineptness to interpret the rules of the game. Will he now be demoted? Doubt it.

Grist, I hold my hand up and retract the Ref got it wrong, he was spot on. He did indeed get the tackle correct and let the play carry on. It was those behind closed doors that messed it up telling him to give a straight red. I've added the VAR audio playback as proof, enjoy it.XD

What do we know only been watching football 65yrs.

Why was it overturned? Lewis slid in withstuds showing and caught the player.
Not sure why it was overturned

Why didn’t the ref book the other player for feigning injury? About as much contact as you sliding a fiver out of your wallet 😄

Now now m8, you know I don't carry loose change

Although it’s been rescinded,it still stays on his record so in effect if he gets another red card later on he could end up with an extra game ban for it being his second red card.can they make anymore stupid rules at the moment.!.
