Play offs
Watching an enjoyable National League playoff semi-final between Alty and Bromley. Alty playing out of the back but with pace. Lots of pace going forward. An active midfield going forward. Wing play. All entertaining stuff!
Incidentally, no Alex connections (on the pitch!) for the Robins this season. The first for many a year.
Of course in the dugout there's ex Dabbers manager Parkinson and his assistant and academy man Neil Sorvel. If Alty win, its a Wembley date with Solihull Moors for entry into L2.
It would be nice if the Alex could mimic Alty's style of play and take us all to Wembley.

Of course, after that glowing comment about Alty, they go and concede 3 in 15 minutes. Ah well! No too different!

Actually there were similarities in the end. After the 15 minute blitz, Bromley let Alty have the ball but Alty couldn't work out how to get through. Lots of passing but sometimes it was passing for the sake of it and a bit of directness wouldn't have gone amiss.
