He's gone, no big deal, football managers are like taxi cabs, there'll be another one along soon, and then we can start moaning all over again. O:)
The ultimate misnomer = loyalty & football. :blue:
What rhymes with banker? XD
Good riddance, showed his true colours when it came to loyalty. .A true w@nker of the highest order. 🤞 ..
Eighth choice I’ve been reading. I’m glad he’s gone. I will never, ever get my head around the way we went from bad to worse last season, and how no one at the club at the way it was going. What the hell were they doing whilst “ Rome was burning” ?
Saving themselves from having to pay out any more money in compensation. He was under contract and, had the club sacked him, he would have been eligible for mega bucks. This way they have not had to fork out anything except for negotiating a new contract for a manager who is, as yet, unknown.
I really don’t see everyone problem , regardless of if he was 1st choice or 10 th choice if one of the top 6 clubs in world football ask to employ you go - loyalty or not.
Same for all of us at some point in our lives - hard decisions to make leaving a workplace - sometimes for money, sometimes for circumstances etc and lastly for progress.
Lastly imo anyway there was a contingent who didn’t like or want him at Burnley so he probably did us a favour by leaving in this manner.
Personally on my side I really don’t care about him thanking the fans or squad etc - it is what’s it is move in find a good replacement and build a team.
Through the doom and gloom there is a team in the players we have - we may need to add a couple and ditch a few - but onwards and upwards.
