Summertime...

I'm off to Spain for a few weeks, are we still doing the July get together?

If so I'll fly back in, if not speak to you all in August.

The date pencilled in was Friday 5th July which now it turns out will be one day after the General Election.

I was intending to go, but I've had my op put back by two weeks to this Tuesday, it's unlikely now I'll have recovered in time for a day out in Manchester on July 5th.

Cheers mon ami, it's a bugger, I think the extra two weeks would just have been enough to get me to Manchester, it's highly unlikely now.

What is a shame is that the rest of the gang won't be able to see that, despite kicking the s-h-i-t out of each other on a daily basis on here, when we're together sharing a pint, we're the best of friends and get on like a house on fire.

I have certainly got the date pencilled in and hoping to get there by train.Brilliant day out.

We are also having a few days in Lancashire from June 17th,staying in the Foxhills Hotel near Langho.Give us a chancto
visit some places we haven't been for a few years.Will be going in the 3 Fishes for a drink but we don't like fine dining.
Also intend to visit the Brown Cow in Chatburn for dinner after recommendations.Both myself and my wife looking foward
to the break.
