Who have you voted for?

For the first time in my adult life I don’t know who I’m putting my X against today.

My traditional “home” is as a just to centre right of the Tory Party over the past 20 years but if I vote for them I’ll be swallowing my own vomit, I dislike this bunch of halfwits, chancers and w anchors so much.

Reform - This is a hard one, I’m tempted not because I like them, I think Tice is a complete tw at and I like Farage less than I did previously……if I vote for them it’s a pure protest to hopefully make the next generation of Tories wake up.

Labour - Hell will freeze over before I vote for Starmer, I have to turn the TV onto mute when he speaks, I can’t stand him, Rayner, Ashworth and Reeves.

I’d have voted for Labour if Andy Burnham had been leader.

Lib Dem - I actually warned to Ed Davey as a bloke having heard his back story, he seems like a genuine bloke albeit his “open doors to all” policy goes against what I’d like to see.

I’m strongly tempted towards them though based on the fact the bloke seems genuine.

Anyone holding their nose and gagging whilst voting Tory today?

Agree with the majority of your above points and yes, will probably end up by doing what your final question asks.

Not even the wife knows which way I intend to vote so I'm not telling the Internet. So there 😃 .

BTW based on what I have decided to put my cross and I think you my prediction is Labour will win but not by as the polls suggest. I go 46 seats.

I've voted for the 'winning side' on every election since 1983. I've a strong feeling that's going to change today.

I did consider Reform but the more I heard the less I liked.

Up until a couple of weeks ago it might have been Labour. We do need change. But 5 years from now does anyone think the obvious things that need changing NHS, growth, crime etc etc will be very different? I have a fear 2 years on when things haven't improved the Labour left will turn on Starmer and stage a take over. Angela Rayner a heartbeat away from being our PM! Shudder.

Davey might be 'genuine' but that doesn't make him a leader. Their last 3 leaders Farron, Swinson Davey. All shockers. Where do they find them from?

So with a very heavy heart I will do what your last sentence suggests.

Nice to read some sense on here about Reform. They would cause carnage if they ever had a semblance of power.

I will vote for Lib Dems, as I did last time. Its quite an easy answer for me as they currently hold the seat I live in and are favourites to win again.

If I lived elsewhere and it was out of Labour/Tory I may have voted Labour holding my nose. But thankfully I don't have that problem - which shows you that our voting system needs reforming in my view.

I do think the Tories will get obliterated, which isn't always a good thing. Because it's always good to have a decent opposition to hold the government to account. Something we haven't had for most of the last 14 years of the Tories, until Starmer took over.

As an ex lifetime paid up member of the Labour party .
My postal vote went to our our standing Tory MP.
He is the most hatdworking MP we have had , a local lad from a single parent houshold , he deserved our vote .
He is the only one who has bothered to knock the door and have a chat , but he does this regularly and above all he gets things done .
Vote for your best MP, not the party , is my advice .

Good post, and great advice.

I like some of the policies all the parties have, including the monster raving looney party policy of switching off social media for one day a week. The Tories need to go, utter shambles and disregard for the law they seem to fail at every turn, will labour be any better, probably not..
