The Beano Album , 58 yrs old this week ,I was 12 when I got this and still have it .

Classic album Soulman! It's the record that really got me into guitar playing and the one that got me interested in finding out about the original blues guitar players that inspired Clapton. Through this album I got into people like Buddy Guy and Otis Rush as well as the 3 Kings and Muddy Waters. Another electric blues album I really liked was the Paul Butterfield Band album from the year before.Quote:

Is it just me becoming an old boomer git or is it very tempting to compare this list with the music output of today and conclude that things were better then?
