Work ethic has evaporated amongst the younger generations and the older workforce tend to experience ageism , particularly with online applications .

A true egalitarian and caring society would cater for health and well being in the workplace , for older people. This would be identifying jobs relevant to abilities, health and physical capacity for a variety of tasks for suitable ,appropriate hours .
In essence, to accommodate older people in the workforce to actually work longer if they feel inclined to do so.
The ever increasing pension age and costs of the pension benefit payments need to be addressed.

On the other hand why should they bother. ?
Thousands( who are physically able to work ) have made a career of avoiding work but have no worries in their old age , receiving Pension Credits and many other free handouts.
