In terms of pure profit by my reckoning we are about £60 million to the good with only one actual outlay which was £5 million to United for Mejbri.
The big bonus was getting rid of a weekly outlay of half a million quid in wages & N.I. contributions.
We will obviously have some fees to pay for player loans but we also have some income on that front.
All in all we have plugged the leak and still have one heck of a squad. ;D
Make that £70 million barrie, I had not counted the Der Kaiser compo package. B)
Thank you.
We also have valuable players here ie Trafford,Koleosho,Tresor,Foster plus our new recruits. We can't guarantee promotion so we
should be prepared.
Some good positive thinking on this thread..
Hard to ignore the £102+ million owing in our accounts for 2022/23, particularly when you read Keiran Maguire.
No point worrying though, it's football finance which defies every other sort of finance ----as Manchester City's lawyers will tell you.
The question was "How much profit did we make in this last window" mein freund.
I guess the publication of last years accounts will tell us where we are now financially.
From a money only point of view, a really good FA Cup run and an immediate promotion back to the EPL would do us a power of good.
