Luke Hipwell

If i went to a game yesterday it was Soham or Wisbech, Wisbech won, their first of the season. I spent the second half behind the home dugout, and had to listen to the new Wisbech managers volatile exhortations.

He was telling everyone what to do, and brought on a youngster. That poor lad couldnt do right for doing wrong, go here, go there, do your job, Hipwell mutteering, but the stand could hear, how naive he was.

If i was the youngster, i would have been afraid to do owt, and even at 19 or 20, id have turned, and in true neoplitan style put my face an inch from his, and ask him who the eff he thought he was.

And walked off.

You cant manage like a moron.

Mind you only Wisbech could do this.......Hipwell camee from Deeping Rangers, wherever that is.

And Wisbech are not bottom anymore, Deeping are.

What other club could employ a dud from a club from below Wisbech?...and expeect something better?

Grow up Mr Hipwell, people have feelings. Its no wonder Deeping are crap.

And this after new players coming in. I fel for the fans, asnd ex fans like me. The days of Wisbech being in a decent grade of non league, southern or northern leagues, even the regional conference, are over, for good. 156 turned up, they could get double that easy with a competive team.

The problem is no one knows what the problem is, on the field, never mind fix it. And off.
