There is a remarkable thing about Uniteds attendances, if you think back. When United got relegated from the championship under Beck so long ago, gates were about the hardcore 2,200.

Of course ive got that wrong, the board relegated the club, they sold the best players and put children in.

Contrast that to today, what seems to be a hard core of about 4,200, despite employing sub standard footballing failures, the permanently injured, the lame, footballing lawyers, cardsharps, snivelleers, twerps, spivs, those of questionable character, spongers, defeatists, pot house customers, robbers, cheeky young pups, the inadequate.

Its so admirable that United run their own version of social services, that without actually stating it, United run social services for desperate for employment footballers, those that wont be employed elsewhere.

And the modest increase in attendances, for relegation to div 2, is utterly incredible.

Keeping in mind the 2,200 for relegation from the Championship.

This has been achieved by suggesting United are on the way up.

Its all a con.....look at the table, application for the ground going in, to be turned down.

They are hardcore supporters Frank and support their team through thick and thin no matter what life throws at Utd,Amber and black running through their veins,fans who still go even though they are bottom part of the league because every now and again you get to see a great 4-4 comeback like against Blackpool,relegation is a bitter pill to swallow but there’s always next season to bounce back again,I doff my flatcap to them

The reason to watch football is to win, at least most of the time. United fans must be suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. It is true that long term pain is ignored, not felt.

Then throw in doing dodges, under hand dealing. Not on is it.
