Oasis…

I see that Oasis have their debut album Definitely Maybe back at the No.1 spot after the hype of the reunion gigs,Time Flies is at No.3 and (What’s the story) Morning Glory is at No.4,they are a great rock n roll band and it’s good to see them back together again,went to see them years back at Rock City and Noel Gallagher was in the bar afterwards,I heard somebody mention to him about the price of the tickets and I heard him reply “Nobody asked you to buy them” which is true,i wonder what that punter would say about todays prices?

Apart from I wouldn’t cross the street to see them… one of my team sold the first album for £326… the 2nd was on £160 … madness

I’m taking a punt here but when cds was all the rage very little vinyl was sold and now what with the reemergence of record collecting and the reunion hype it’s pushed prices of your mates albums up from an already heathy collectible item to a must have item,it’s all about timing so well done to him for investing in vinyl when everyone else was throwing it in the bin
