It’s definitely the daftest idea I’ve ever heard , I could see it if at the end of the season that you got your bit take take away , but you get feck all ,
The fans owned football club FC United of Manchester had a virtual pitch for sale about ten years ago when they were trying to raise funds for their new stadium at Broadhurst Park, Moston, Manchester.
Their virtual pitch was from memory divided into 10,000 pixels with each pixel on sale at £25 each.
A modern day ‘buy a brick in a wall’ scheme.
