I haven’t bought any music for ages !
When my 2 sons were at home (they’re knocking on 50 now) we had piano, keyboard, Washburn acoustic, Fender Telecaster and full drum set at home. Our elder lad played keyboard, vocals and/or drums in a local group, the younger drums and I (pre arthritic hands) strummed. We had amps etc and often with friends (their friends in the main) round would jam. I became known as Eric Clapped Out.:O:?:PXD
Hi there was only my twin brother who played an acoustic guitar from the age of 11 , in amily who plyed any instruments .
I was late taking it up in my late 50s ,on taking early retirement .
Biggest regret not taking up when I was young and had good hands .
The Clarke family in the USA have a lot of fun ,with their family group .
Great to keep the kids away from their I pads and play stations .

Loved Clapton with John Mayall, Cream, Blind Faith and Delaney and Bonnie and tried to stay with him because he declared he was an Albion fan but to be honest I lost interest in his solo stuff and heard guitarists I much preferred. Roy Buchanan, Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter, Stephen Stills. More recently Nels Cline. He is still a fine player but not for me anymore. Just recently found out that apparently Ronnie Wood of the Stones is an Albion fan. Did not know that.
