English League Football: The Complete Record.

My original book The Rothmans Book of Football League Records 1888-89 to 1978-79? was published in March 1980 by the Queen Anne Press division of Macdonald and Jane?s.
I have completely updated and expanded the book and all related work. The book now has 600 pages and was published on 4 October 2024 by the Mount Vernon Publishing Group under my real name of Ian Laschke. The bulk of the book is results grids with all scores and abbreviated match dates and the final League table for each Division and each season from 1888 to the end of the 2023-24 season. The League tables provide home, away and total combined data and the leading goalscorer details for each team within each Division. Other detail is as follows:
1. Test matches and play-off details with scorers and other relevant data.
2. Points deductions details
3. Applications for re-election and teams relegated to/promoted from the Conference.
4. Divisional champions in order of merit.
5. Leading goalscorers, completely re-worked as most available work in this area is full of errors.
6. Former names of League teams.
7. Player appearances and goalscoring records for every team to have won the First Division and the Premier League.
8. All data relevant to the Inter League matches between the Third Division North and Third Division South.
9. The 1933-1946 Third Division North and South Cup competitions results (competition only ran for these years).
10. All English Football League representative dates, results and venues and the results and details of the Football League Centenary Matches.
11. Teams scoring 10 goals or more in League matches and major records.
(All detail to end of 2023-24 season)
The book is designed to provide a full reference to all English League football related matches. As a former member of The Association of Football Statisticians, I am well acquainted with what is required and I have not only fulfilled those requirements but, in many cases, taken them a stage further. This is a football fanatics dream - The absolute bible of English League Football records.

I have met Ian (Wokes) on a few occasions. After a few minutes of conversation you know he knows his football. A very interesting man, and good he graces our small forum.
