Anyone dare to dream?
I’m reminded of a trip to Elland Road in 1978 (I think). We lost 4-0 and my car was broken into later on while I was in a club in Halifax watching John Otway. Bit of a nightmare then and, especially without Adams, I fear something similar.
Certainly won’t be in a club in Halifax, but suspect we’ll be on the wrong end of a 3-0. Hope I’m completely wrong.
We can all think what the dreams will be and they are the opposite of the nightmare I expect in reality.
3-0 tonking.
Just what we need after 2 home defeats a Leeds tonking.
4-1 defeat.
Think we will draw 1-1, but reckon a sneaky 1-0 to us isn't out of the question.
Didn't we have a run where we best them 9 games on the trot or something like that?
I think a loss for us here sadly.
5-0 loss on the cards
I've seen nothing to suggest that will happen. With the exception of the defeat at Blackburn, we have been pretty tight at the back and away at Sheff Utd was very close. Warne can set up a team to defend and we ahve the players to do it, its scoring that's been a problem for obvious reasons.
The conditions today will be in our favour as well, I'm optimistic that we will get a result.
Looks like my optimism was misplaced. Not sure why Warne can't just stick to a formation, none of the team seem to know where they are supposed to be playing, got to change it at half time surely?
