It’s another three games in a week cycle and after the storm hampered journey to Luton over the weekend it’s another long trip to Plymouth.
We meet up again with ex-Swans Morgan Whittaker (he’s out injured), Michael Obafemi and Matthew Sorinola.
Manager Wayne Rooney has just brought in Mike Phelan as his new assistant after Pete Shuttleworth left for personal reasons. Phelan was assistant manager to the great Alex Ferguson at Man Utd where they won many league titles together.
Plymouth’s home game against Oxford was called off due to the high winds last Saturday so they haven’t played for ten days since their 4-0 drubbing at Bristol City. Four days before that they lost 6-1 at Norwich (who hadn’t won in their previous 7 games). Norwich and the Championship’s leading scorer on 15 goals Borja Sainz getting a hat-trick.
Swans meanwhile gained a point from a 1-1 draw at Luton. After conceding early to a Cabango slip-up they recovered to equalise second half and should have won at a canter with their dominance, but poor finishing let them down.

Plymouth 1 (Bundu 79?) - Swansea 2(Fulton 44?, Cullen 60?)
Panic stations at the end again after Swans made five substitutions including the two full-backs which disrupted our play, two at 67? and three at 76?.
Before that they were strolling it and were the better team.
The Plymouth goal spurred them on and they put us under constant pressure.
How many times have baffling substitutions changed our games for the worse this season.
Anyway we held out, we won, and are up to 9th in the table.

Plymouth were desperate to impress after two heavy defeats but Swans we’re the better team.
Two goals up but we let them in late on and ended up hanging on for the win.
When you sub off half the team it’s bound to have an adverse effect.

No moaning boys we won away for the fourth time this season.
Maybe backs to the wall stuff at the end but Plymouth, despite being in the relegation zone, had only lost at home once previously this season.
