MK Dons
Well, today's performance was much better, but the last quarter of the field is still lacking (not for lack of effort, just application). Omar, if he plays as a lone striker, needs to watch the offside line more (maybe just a lack of minutes). Out goal, not really a strike, but we will take anything we can get...
MK Dons, hurm, so much talent, Jack White again looked good (unsure how his strike went in?), but flakey performance all around by MK. I had them as promotion contenders, a large experienced squad, I still see playoffs for them at the end of the year based on overall strength.
We still have this additional game over a few teams around us, but need 3 x points from that game. So 6 x point haul from December, and 7th place, I can take that. Again I look to the January window, if we do not lose folks and get injuries back, we should still be ok?
January Points haul, Carlisle 1, Bromley 3, Swindon 3, Morecambe 3, Accrington 1, AFC Wimbledon 1, therefore 12 x points in January, giving us 48 points, should be still in and around the playoff positions.....
(Thoughts?)

I think 3 is more likely v Carlisle than Bromley - they're picking up form and draw even more games than us, so maybe 1 there (on Sunday for some reason.) Hope for 3 v Swindon but they may have strengthened by then and are improving a bit, so maybe 10 from the month. We end the month 8th after Wimbledon won one of their games in hand 1-0 last night - the other of course is against us .....
It's Joe White btw.
Happy New Year to all!

Thanks for the Jack / Joe correction. Probably agree with the points change, I could take 10 points against 12 by end January. The league is extremely tight, need to look at prior seasons to see if similar. I get very selective coverage of both L1 and L2 in USA, except bloody Wrexham!, so apologize if weird thoughts at times.
