it's all knee jerk reactions with awards these days. That tennis player Emma Radacanu achieved a one hit wonder and got Sports personality of the year when so many deserving sports persons had achieved far more. I must admit though Southgate does deserve to be institutionalised in some way.

A nearly man but as near as we have had since Sir Alf Ramsey did win a major tournament. I don’t begrudge Sir Gareth his knighthood though the knee taking simply made my teeth grind. They must surely have looked round the rest of the world and seen no-one else was interested in the slightest.
It wasn't just the kneeling, Southgate ran out of ideas but persisted with the same ineffective tactics, very much like Kompany's Burnley in the Prem. he thought possession was the be all and end all, he got it half right.
This is the clown who had Grealish, Palmer, Gordon and Maddison available and decided we were a better team without them. Arise Sir Dumb****.
It won't be the Grand Old Duke of York who taps him on the shoulder that is for sure. XD
The Duke of York has been reported to police after using the name “Inverness” to register a company.
Republic, an anti-monarchy campaign group, accused the Duke of filing false information.
In 2019, The Telegraph revealed that Prince Andrew had secretly set up a private investment fund under the name “Andrew Inverness” to channel deals brokered at Buckingham Palace.
