I’ve seen Steven Schumacher’s name mentioned, he doesn’t fill me with any optimism. I would like Mowbray if he’s well enough.

Tend to agree with you Ketts. If Mowbray is not available right now, then wait. If not Mowbury then Sean Dyche. I realise that I was sceptical regarding him in another post but we appear to be desperate now and Dyche is probably as good as we are going to get. We are in a problematic situation.

I would take Mowbray for the rest of the season, whilst we look for the right coach for next season. I wouldn't want anyone currently available to us to take us forward.
If Mowbray is the odds on favourite I would imagine that we are waiting for him to get the medical all clear. If he does get the all clear I think that he would probably take the job, if offered it.
It would be nice if Nestor and co got their fingers out of their a rses and appoint someone before the end of the transfer window
