Who would like to see a return of the Home Internationals and would they benefit the British nations in the modern game. Obviously we have the Nations League tournament now as well so not sure how easy it would be to bring them back but I used to love the Home Internationals as a kid and there was always loads of controversy.
I loved them too and would be great to see again but it really isn’t going to happen. Too much congestion already in the football calendar.
I used to go to most of them, I was at the infamous game against Scotland when they mysteriously acquired ninety thousand tickets and dismantled the place but of course, as it always is with Scottish fans, it was just high jinx and all done in good spirits...........on the back of some very good spirits.
IIRC, we proceeded to lose to Wales for the first time at home, not long after.
