Wolves host Fulham, which will be their last match against a team in the top half of the table until May. We defeated the Cottagers in November for GON?s last win as manager. That game featured two Cunha goals, as well as an assist in a 1-4 victory. Ipswich and Leicester are away this matchday, so a Wolves win would most likely give us more than a 6 point cushion from the drop zone, which would be massive heading into a stretch of winnable matches.

i have said it all season ..this is a very poor wolves side , who are out of their depth in the prem.
if by some fucking miracle wolves avoid the drop,,next season it will
be hard to find 3 teams worse than wolves, cos leeds and sheff utd are streets ahead of us.
I have to disagree with you Greavsey, Ref easy fixtures, Fulham have beaten Newcastle and Forest this season and sit just outside the European places. They are the last team in the top ten, before we run into the so called easy fixtures. I still think three more wins will see us safe. Southampton are gone and Ipswich and Leicester have a much harder set of fixtures.
Last night two early goals, one in each half, must have frustrated the Manager. Once the second went in, Fulham shut up shop and were content with the occasional breakaway. They defended very well, putting bodies behind the ball.
Personally I thought we played some excellent football at times, with some clever passing and link up play. However, at the end of the day it is about putting the ball into the back of the opponents net.
The Cup match next weekend will be interesting with Bournemouth out for revenge.
