Cod or chips?

Have to win tonight to show that the last 2 games were not a flash in the pan. Let's hope we can be that team that does the late surge (in other words the antithesis of last season!)
Fleetwood are supposedly a bit gung-ho and though likely to throw themselves at us, are just as likely to leave gaps at the back. Should suit Bell's approach of containing and then hitting on the break.
Because the sun is shining and I'm still suffering from optimism, I'm going for 2-1 win tonight with bitten fingernails in the last 10 minutes.

That'll teach me to be optimistic. All went very flat and almost pointless after Shilow got injured. The sight of Shilow clearly suffering obviously got to the players and they were going through the motions.
I'm not really sure it's worth analysing the problems with tactics/ line-up before and the substitution after the injury, so i''ll just leave it there.

Damn, we were battered, that started in the first 10 mins and then a goal down. The injury did subdue, but why did we let Fleewood dictate. Disappointing evenings work. We had better shape up for Saturday vs., Salford the bogey team!

Credit to Fleetwood, they put together a plan to try and win the game - hopefully LB and the team have analysed the game to see where we went wrong.

The injury to Shilow was really bad - reminded me of Gordon Wallace ...

As a fan, it doesn't matter what the result is, an injury like that leaves a nasty taste.

I presume the same is true for the players, management et al
