Owner - Dai Yongge

The owner of Reading FC Dai Yongge has been disqualified by the EFL, & as been
told to sell the club by 4th April 2025

The club could face expulsion from the EFL.


My thoughts -

Reading FC have done well this 2024-25 season -
Been hit with transfer embargo, allowing only certain transfers - 3 players brought in.

Reading FC are 8th in league one with 59 points.
Played - 37 // Won - 16 // Drawn - 11 // Lost -10
Goals for - 52 // Against - 46

Against all odds the team has done well this season, be it that the club has used 2 managers.

Ruben Selles - Resigned to take over Hull City - 6th December 2024

Noel Hunt - Current manager - Appointed 6th December 2024

The fans are hoping that some one comes into buy the club.

Very good and not before time that the EFL have finally stepped in and told him to leave. Should you feel for the Reading fans or is it a case of they lapped it all up while the big spending was going on and don't deserve any sympathy?

I remember their, " we'll never play you again", jibes before we pipped them for promotion under Ronnie.

Think it is sad that a club similar to us is under threat. Having said that, how many more.?
