Is there any truth in the rumour that John Ruddy was gonna sign on loan to Carlisle but it got cancelled after they sacked Mike Williamson?

Certainly nothing I heard about.

I think it would have been unlikely though, Eddie has no real loyalty to Iron Mike.

Maybe if it was happening, they were worried that the new manager would change things around.

Equally - Ruddy is here to add experience in our dressing room and he's doing his coaching badges, so maybe he wouldn't want to leave.
