From the sublime to the rediculous

In a few short weeks, Queens have completely transformed their season from being play off outsiders to potentially finishing second!

Clearly this is a quite remarkable turnaround, although that scenario still has to be achieved.

Finishing second should not be the pinnacle of our aims though and a common sense approach is required to ensure that all our best players are fit for the play off games.

The reality is that this squad is capable of bringing off the surprise of the decade by achieving promotion and at last there is a winning mentality being demonstrated.

Obviously, there?s still a long way to go and one look at the remaining games means that the 4 teams left vying for the play off position will invariably lose points along the way as they compete against each other.

If we maintain the winning mentality we could quietly slip under the radar into second spot.

Equally, we could slip away into oblivion, so some cool, but very determined heads are required.

One step at a time Jardi. This is a good side though and we?re now beginning to show what we?re all about. I had given up any play off chances after the away defeat to Cove but they?ve proved me & others wrong.

Hopefully a decent crowd at home next week.

A great turn around in the last few weeks. Well done to the guys in the make shift defence. A good return from Matty Douglas and some dogged defending gave the platform for the forward players. Smith has been great and the return of Kennedy has given a threat on both wings that was lacking previously. A fantastic first touch from Allan and a cool finish. He gave Wullie a difficult second half. Reece Lyon best for me. Annan worked hard but lacking up front.
