Next up it’s our longest away trip of the season to Sunderland, fourth in the table and already assured of a play-off place.
In the reverse fixture two goals in two minutes from Neil and Bellingham turned the game after Swans had led for 75 minutes.
Their only defeat at home came on 22 Feb when lowly Hull won 0-1 there, goalkeeper Patterson fumbled a corner into his own net. Next home game they beat Cardiff 2-1, Mepham scoring the winner in the 77th minute.
After the impressive demolition of Plymouth on Wednesday night our confidence should be high going into this match. The midfield trio of Allen, O’Brien and Franco the players that stood out, not forgetting wing-back Key with his super goal.

Another impressive display and result at fourth placed Sunderland in front of 44,000 fans and to beat such a high ranking team that are already guaranteed a playoff place is astonishing.
Such a delight for the brave Jack army who travelled all that way. It was three wins and nine points in seven days, unbelievable, well done Sheehan and the team.

What a difference Alan Sheehan has made to the team since he took over on a temporary basis.

What a win boys. Sheehan must be given the job permanently now, he’s got the team playing for him and they look much fitter since he’s taken over. Three wins in a week and nine points in the bag, no way we’d have got that under Williams. Four games left, two at home, next up Hull.
