Disgusting. I don't get it. Surely if you are going to do something, while I don't condone it, make the target relevant?
I wouldn't lock up who ever has done it, if caught, I'd give them 1000 hours community service cleaning graffiti etc off statues, walls etc.
Whoever is responsible has done something many may well have thought unlikely, at best.
